For this 3,000‑word story, I refined language, smoothed sentence structure, and strengthened the overall flow of the narrative. I focused on clearer and more natural prose, ensuring the rhythm supported the tone of the story. Alongside these edits, I offered targeted suggestions – for example, when moments called for more sensory detail, stronger show‑don’t‑tell choices, or dialogue adjustments to reduce reliance on tags and enhance character presence.
